Can I really use Demand Signatures for free?
Yes. The Free plan includes legally binding e-signatures, an audit trail on every document and reusable templates, for up to 5 documents a month with one seat. No credit card, no time limit.
What happens when I reach 5 documents in a month?
Sending pauses until the first of next month, or until you upgrade to Pro. Nothing is deleted: every document, signature and audit trail stays exactly where it is, and signers can still complete anything already sent.
How does the Pro trial work?
Pro starts with a 14-day free trial. A card is required to begin it, you are not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel before then from Manage billing. One trial per workspace.
Can I switch between monthly and annual, or cancel?
Yes. Manage billing opens your Stripe customer portal, where you can switch billing period, update your card, download invoices or cancel. Cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.
Who can upgrade?
The owner of a workspace or organization. Members see the plan and usage, and can ask their owner to upgrade.
Are signatures on the Free plan legally binding?
Electronic records and signatures generally cannot be denied legal effect solely because they are electronic; suitability depends on the document. Review signing events and timestamps. Completed documents include a signing certificate.
How does annual billing work?
Annual Pro is billed once a year at $228, which works out to $19 a month, about 20% less than paying monthly. Plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
What is Enterprise?
Enterprise is for lenders and larger teams that need unlimited seats, onboarding and integration help, and invoice billing. Contact us and we will set it up with you.
